Coaching Staff for 2009-2010 Short Course Season

I am sure most of you have been anxiously awaiting to hear who your child’s coach is going to be.  I am happy to announce the 2009-2010 coaching staff:

Lori Riegler -  Head Coach/ Senior 1 & 2/Tigers

Jim Kelly - Head Age Group Coach/Makos/Tigers

Pat Howes - Asst. Senior 1 & 2

Anna Craddock - Asst. Senior 1 & 2

Kara Oswald - Makos/Hammerheads - (Kara comes to us from Wisconsin where she has been coaching for 4 years)

Eugene Korsunskiy - Sandsharks/Hammerheads – (Eugene was the coach for Lake Hogan Farms this past summer, former swim instructor at the Chapel Hill YMCA)

Matt Patty - Sandsharks/Makos – (many know Matt from coaching at the Tennis Club this summer, he was also one of the coaches for our Spring Splash program)

I am very excited about this coaching staff.  We have some new leadership who will help guide our program in the direction we need to go.  Our new coaches bring a lot of enthusiasm and excitement.  The younger swimmers will really enjoy learning from these new coaches.  I hope you will be as excited about this season as we are.  Please join us Wednesday, August 19 at 6:30pm at Phillips for the parent meeting for returning parents and swimmers.  The coaches will be there to introduce themselves and tell a little about themselves and what they have to bring to our team.  This will be a great opportunity for you to meet them and ask them questions.  We hope to see you then!
